DualFix Technology

As the stretchability of denim, and therefore jeans, increases, so does the tendency for the fabric to either stretch too much or start shrinking. This can lead to jeans that lose their fit over time. This is where Lycra's DualFix technology comes in.

The patented LYCRA® dualFX® technology consists of two stretch fibers - one which is elastane and the other which is a polyester bi-component fiber - these two create denim with exceptional performance. LYCRA® fibers provide a durable stretch that increases comfort and retains the fit, while LYCRA® T400® fibers provide a bounce-back ability that also gives our jeans an exceptional shape. The fibers are bonded together and covered with cotton for an authentic denim look and feel, while offering extra flexibility, all-day comfort and a long-lasting fit.

Lyocell

TENCEL TM Lyocell, as the fibers are called, is a unique addition to our jeans that makes them extraordinarily comfortable to wear.

Known for their natural comfort and environmentally responsible closed-loop production process, TENCEL TM Lyocell fibers deliver unmatched quality, performance and versatility. The way the fibers are created is by converting wood pulp into cellulose fibers, while maintaining a very high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. The unique physical properties lead to great tenacious fiber strength, excellent moisture management and a great feel against the skin.

Durable

Most people know that denim jeans are known for their durability. In fact, this is what made denim jeans a breakthrough in the US in particular over a hundred years ago, namely that they could withstand the hard work in the coal mines.

At Libertie, we work with one of the world's best denim fabric manufacturers. The factory is located in Italy and is 3rd generation and they only specialize in making denim fabric. They select only the best cotton from around the world and weave it on state-of-the-art machines. Together with the unique composition of e.g. DualFix technology, lyocell and cotton, our jeans are made to be extraordinarily durable.

Breathable

Our jeans are made to be more breathable than most other jeans, in addition to the fabric being a little lighter, the unique Lyocell fabric fibers allow the body to breathe easier. TENCEL TM Lyocell fibers support the body's temperature regulating properties through their moisture management. Derived from natural material, the microscopic fibrils in Lyocell's cellulosic fibers are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture. This contributes to the fabric's breathability, which supports the body's natural thermal regulation. Furthermore, Lyocell has a higher vapor absorption than pure cotton.

Our straight jeans are a new generation of men's jeans that combine the special DualFixtechnology for a unique 360-degree stretch with the sustainable material Lyocell for amazing comfort. The fabric is designed to be durable, breathable, comfortable and stretchy while still retaining the authentic jeans look. The fabric is sourced from a factory just outside Milan and then the pants are sewn in Portugal.
